By Mauro Benente

Sumary

The following piece of work hopes to present an approach to the political thought of Thomas Hobbes and to analyze the most important categories in his work: state of nature, pact, sovereign power and civil society. As well as putting forward my views on Hobbes’ work, I will delineate others that have already been given on the work of the English political philosopher.

Key words
