Sumary
The role of the "afroporteños" during federal times has been worked often since XIX century. Mostly, these works were made through contemporary chronicles, most of wich had tendenciuos assesments and no reference to other direct sources. Even the latest ones rely on documentary sampling. This work tries, through a legal history view, to reconstruct an intense and valuable legal activity. It is not, nevertheless, a merely descriptive work; it aims, too, to explain the happened changes, to understand the time´s mentality and to show the why and the how of legal evolution. |
