Sumary

This article attempts to analyze some aspects of the project of draft civil and commercial code in Argentina from a legal-historical perspective. This initiative was promoted by the executive power of Argentina by means of Decree. Specifically this paper will discuss the capacity of “the code” to regulate the property rights of indigenous people.
