» DEMOCRACY AND EMANCIPATORY POLITICS: THE POLITICAL-PHILOSOPHICAL QUESTION ABOUT THE PLACE OF AUTHORITY IN UNIVERSITY TEACHER TRAINING
By María Beatriz Greco

Sumary

This article displays some axes of research in the project Ubacyt "University teacher training as a configuration space of professional identity: the question of authority in the training process” 2012-2014. The sense of working with a political - philosophical question about the authority in university teacher training is directly linked to the debate on democratic processes and educational policies that are put in place in order to promote them . In teacher training in general and in the university in particular, these processes are especially sensitive to constructing democracy as future teachers / professionals and their exercise of authority is directly linked to a way of relating to knowledge and to the other/s in social and educational spaces where emancipation takes a central place.

Key words

Teacher training - Pedagogical authority - Emancipatory politics
