» BIRTH AND DEATH OF BIOPOLITICS
By Pablo Esteban Rodríguez, Natalia Ortiz Maldonado, Agostina Marchi, Gonzalo Sebastián Aguirre

Sumary

Each machinic assemblage brings about its own range of perception (omnitudo) according to the outcoming way (autonomous or heteronomous) in which potencies or impulses govern. Each subjectivation will entail, therefore, the stabilization of a principle of production (remissio) within which the potency (latitudo) that actually stabilizes such mode of subjectivation according to a particular range of perception will eventually happen. Something is going to happen, something is happening already; but we should not mix up what happens with the place within which it happens or with what is happening. Thus, the provisional series of voices we herein introduce is no more than a discursive experiment that intends to distinguish (since it seems to be both affecting and destabilizing the basic composition of the principle of production itself and, therefore, also the mode of subjectivation such principle sustains) what happens within the current academic happening of the concept “biopolitics”.

Key words

Biopolitics - Modes of subjectivation - Regime of truth - Ranges of perception - Expression
