This paper examine the role of labor laws when analyzing union's freedom (as descentralization). In
order to do that we first describe the historical development of union's law in Argentina. Then we
discuss some of the main literature on it, which asserts the existence of a strong link between
centralizing norms and a strong labour movement. On the contrary we point out that this
explanations leave out relevant data such as the economical and social structures main features,
the dynamics of the political system, and the historical development of working class' collectives
and means of action. |
